Dampaknya tidak kecil. Jalan dapat berubah tidak rata, sementara bangunan berisiko mengalami keretakan bila fondasi tanah tidak stabil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Berdasarkan keterangan perusahaan, penyebab utamanya terletak pada kondisi tanah yang belum padat sempurna. Tanah memiliki partikel, air, dan udara. Saat pori-porinya masih besar, lapisan tanah di bagian dalam masih berpotensi turun secara perlahan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Untuk menekan risiko tersebut, PIK 2 disebut menggunakan teknologi vakum tanah. Metode ini dirancang untuk mempercepat proses pemadatan tanah dari lapisan atas hingga ke bagian dalam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Perusahaan menjelaskan, pemadatan dengan bulldozer hanya bekerja optimal di permukaan. Sementara lapisan yang lebih dalam tetap membutuhkan perlakuan khusus agar tidak menyisakan potensi penurunan di kemudian hari.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Prosesnya dimulai dari pengurugan dan perataan lahan. Setelah itu, dipasang vertical drain hingga kedalaman sekitar 18 meter. Drain ini berfungsi sebagai jalur keluarnya air dan udara dari lapisan tanah terdalam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Seluruh area lalu ditutup menggunakan membran kedap udara. Penutupan ini menjadi tahap penting karena menjaga sistem tetap tertutup selama proses vakum berlangsung.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pada tahap selanjutnya, pompa vakum dioperasikan untuk menarik air dan udara dari dalam tanah melalui saluran drain. Saat kandungan air dan udara berkurang, pori-pori tanah mengecil.
